The Bair Hugger System is designed to enhance forced-air warming, offering clinicians a solution for comfort and clinical warming throughout the perioperative process. The system includes a single gown that allows patients to be prewarmed before surgery and clinically warmed during surgery when connected to a 3M™ Bair Hugger™ warming unit. The gown continues to provide warmth in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) while accommodating patient-adjustable warming, enabling patients to modify the temperature of the air flowing through the gown to their preference. The small size gown is specifically suited for adolescent and petite surgical patients, while the addition of booties enhances comfort for lower extremities, which often feel cold before and after surgery. Key attributes include full coverage with a wrap-around design, clinical flexibility, and ease of use, ensuring both comfort and clinical warming throughout the perioperative process.
