ClearSeal™ screw-cap microtubes are available in various sizes, cap configurations, and graduation options, including a loop-cap option for the 2.0ml version. Constructed from ultra-clear polypropylene, these microtubes feature assembled caps with silicone O-rings that provide a leak-proof seal, functioning effectively in temperatures ranging from -90°C to +121°C. Each microtube is sterile and free from RNase, DNase, and pyrogens, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. The microtubes can be centrifuged at up to 22,000xg*, which pertains to liquids with a specific gravity of 1.0, provided that suitable rotors, cushions, and adapters are used. They are packaged in resealable bags containing 50 units each and come with white, printed graduations for easy measurement.
