MTC Bio weigh boats are constructed from antistatic polystyrene and can withstand temperatures up to 90°C, along with exposure to diluted acids, alcohols, bases, and aqueous solutions. Their design features flexibility and smooth interior surfaces with rounded corners, facilitating easy decanting of powdered samples. The flat bottom provides stability and prevents tipping. These weigh boats are available in traditional square and new diamond shapes for enhanced pouring convenience. Initially intended as weighing containers, they have also proven effective for dispensing, storage, and as disposable mixing or quick freezing trays. They come in black or white to improve sample contrast and visibility and are packaged in ultra-compact dispenser packs. Key features include being antistatic and biologically inert, having recessed corners for precise pouring, and wide, flat bottoms that resist tipping.
