MTC bio weigh boats are constructed from antistatic polystyrene, allowing them to withstand temperatures up to 90°C and exposure to diluted acids, alcohols, bases, and aqueous solutions. Their design features a flexible structure with smooth interior surfaces and rounded corners, which facilitate easy decanting of powdered samples. Additionally, the weigh boats have flat bottoms that enhance stability and prevent tipping. Available in both traditional square shapes and new diamond shapes for improved pouring efficiency, these weigh boats were initially designed as weighing containers but have proven suitable for dispensing, storage, and as disposable mixing or quick-freezing trays. They come in black or white to enhance sample contrast and visibility, and are packaged in ultra-compact dispenser packs. The attributes include being antistatic and biologically inert, with recessed corners for precise pouring, making them ideal for handling liquids, powders, or granular samples.
