MTC bio weigh boats are constructed from antistatic polystyrene, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 90°C, and are resistant to exposure from diluted acids, alcohols, bases, and aqueous solutions. The design includes flexibility and smooth interior surfaces with rounded corners, facilitating easy decanting of powdered samples. The weigh boats feature wide, flat bottoms that enhance stability and prevent tipping, and they are available in a traditional square shape as well as a new diamond shape for easier pouring. Initially intended as weighing containers, these boats have also proven effective for dispensing and storage, as well as serving as disposable mixing and quick freezing trays. They come in black or white to improve sample contrast and visibility, and are packaged in ultra-compact dispenser packs.
