Our 15ml centrifuge tubes are made of premium polypropylene for clarity and centrifugal strength. The kit includes tubes and caps that may be frozen at temperatures as low as -86°C, with a maximum centrifugal force of 12,000 x g for the 15ml tubes. The caps have a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling. The C2605 and C2630 models feature a 'skirted' bottom that allows the tubes to stand upright without a separate test tube rack. The C2600 series of centrifuge tubes, whether self-standing or not, are leakproof to 95 kPa/14 psi, referring to liquids with a specific gravity of 1.0, using appropriate rotors, cushions, and adapters. They are sterile, RNase, DNase, pyrogen, and cytotoxin free, and are available racked or bagged. These tubes are compatible with standard rotors and include a frosted marking surface for easy identification.
