The MTC Bio line of bacteriological spreaders includes four different shapes and sizes: the original L-shape, a T-shape version, and two triangle shapes (large and small). All versions come in sterile packaging and feature smooth, rounded edges to minimize cutting, scraping, or gouging of agar during inoculation. The L-shape spreaders are crafted from ABS and are designed for even distribution of bacteriological cultures, with a slight upward curve at the edge to prevent dragging. The T-shape spreaders, also made from ABS, have a 34mm spreading surface that allows for consistent pressure application, making them ideal for CFU plate counts on various liquids such as water, milk, and urine. The triangle-shaped spreaders are constructed from polypropylene and are available in both a 30mm and an extra-large 60mm span, featuring a grooved handle for improved grip and orientation, also intended for CFU count applications. All products are designed with compliance to relevant standards, ensuring reliability in laboratory settings.
