This flashlight is CETLUS, ATEX, IECEx, and Inmetro-certified intrinsically safe for use in both above and below ground hazardous locations where explosive gases and dusts may be present. The 5418 utilizes a LED rated at 200 lumens, paired with a deep parabolic reflector to produce a flashlight beam that reaches 143 meters. It features a tail switch that allows for momentary or constant-on functionality and complies with the requirements of NFPA-1971-8.6 (2013), powered by 3 AA premium batteries (not included). The mount can be affixed to either side of the helmet to facilitate hands-free illumination and offers 140 degrees of adjustment to ensure proper clearance around face shields, goggles, or other helmet-mounted equipment.
