Hybex Erlenmeyer flasks are constructed from high-quality borosilicate 3.3 glass, offering superior temperature resistance due to their low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3) compared to standard lab glass. These flasks can endure high temperatures, making them suitable for shaking applications, media preparation, and long-term storage. They feature permanent white enamel graduations for accurate volume measurement and a white identification box for labeling. Each flask is equipped with an autoclavable polypropylene cap and drip-ring for secure storage of media and cultures. Optional cap colors are available, along with PBT material caps that can tolerate temperatures up to 180°C. The flasks utilize standard GL-45 threads, ensuring compatibility with a variety of caps from different manufacturers, including phenolic and vented caps.
