HyBex Erlenmeyer flasks are constructed from high-quality borosilicate 3.3 glass, featuring a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3) that provides superior temperature resistance compared to standard lab glass or soda-lime glass. These flasks are designed to withstand high temperatures, making them suitable for shaking applications, media preparation, and long-term storage. They include permanent white enamel graduations for precise volume measurement and a white identification box for marking or coding. Each flask comes with an autoclavable polypropylene cap and a drip ring for media and culture storage. Optional cap colors are available, in addition to PBT material caps suitable for temperatures up to 180°C. The flasks have standard GL-45 threads, allowing compatibility with a wide range of cap types from various manufacturers, including phenolic caps and vented caps.
