Hybex Erlenmeyer flasks are crafted from high-quality borosilicate 3.3 glass, which features a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3) that provides superior temperature resistance compared to standard lab glass or soda lime glass. Designed to endure high temperatures, these flasks are ideal for shaking applications, media preparation, and long-term storage. Each flask is equipped with permanent white enamel graduations for accurate volume measurement and includes a white identification box for easy marking or coding. For the storage of media and cultures, the flasks come with an autoclavable polypropylene cap and drip-ring. Optional cap colors are available, along with PBT material caps suitable for temperature applications up to 180°C. The flasks are designed with standard GL-45 threads, ensuring compatibility with a variety of cap types from different manufacturers, including phenolic and vented caps.
