The Triplett LD70 laser distance meter is a compact device designed for one-person operation, capable of measuring distances from 2 inches to 230 feet (0.05 to 70m) with high accuracy and repeatability. It features addition and subtraction capabilities as well as area and volume measurement functions, alongside indirect measurement using the Pythagorean theorem. The kit includes a stakeout function, which aids in stud and fence layout, and additional attributes such as a selectable front and back reference edge, continuous real-time on-screen angle display, and memory storage for the last 20 readings. To enhance performance at longer distances, it comes with (2) AAA batteries and a 4" x 2" reflective plate. The device is designed with an auto power off feature to maximize battery life.
