The Triplett SLM400 sound level meter is designed for testing and verifying sound levels to ensure compliance with worker safety standards (OSHA), community noise ordinances, and various applications such as night clubs/concerts, airports, mines, athletic events, construction sites, vehicle testing, wind farms, and new product noise reduction. This device meets IEC 61672-1 Type 2 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2 standards, offering an accuracy of 1.5dB. It has a measurement range of 35 to 130dB, with A and C weighting options, and selectable fast/slow response times. The kit includes a 9V battery, a windscreen, and a hard carrying case.
