The Triplett SLM400-KIT sound level meter with calibrator kit is designed for testing and verifying sound levels for various applications, including worker safety (OSHA), community noise ordinances, night clubs/concerts, airports, mines, athletic events, construction sites, vehicle testing, wind farms, and new product noise reduction. The sound level meter complies with IEC 61672-1 Type 2 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2, offering a measurement accuracy of 1.5dB over a range of 35 to 130dB, with A and C weighting and selectable fast/slow response times. The included calibrator is compatible with 1/2" diameter microphones and provides selectable output levels of 94dB and 114dB with an accuracy of 0.5dB, operating at an output frequency of 4%@1kHz. The kit comprises a Type 2 sound level meter complete with a 9V battery and windscreen, a sound level calibrator also powered by a 9V battery, and a hard carrying case for protection and portability.
