The Triplett 3399 Fox 2 and Hound 3 wire tracing kit includes a premium Fox 2 tone generator and a Hound 3 inductive amplifier. The Fox 2 is a battery-operated, lightweight, multi-function toner that generates multiple tones, performs basic telephone line tests such as loop ma and line polarity, and provides a visual and audible continuity test while incorporating Triplett's True Trace and Triplatch tests. The Hound 3 is also a battery-operated, lightweight probe featuring a thumbwheel sensitivity control and a signal strength indicator LED. It enhances previous designs with built-in LED illuminators, a bandpass filter, an earphone jack, and an easy access battery cover.
