Ovation® pipettes are designed with a unique and patented ergonomic shape that effectively addresses posture, repetition, and force issues to significantly reduce strain and pain associated with pipetting, while ensuring superior accuracy and precision. The angled shape allows for low arm and elbow height during use, which minimizes tension and pain in the neck, shoulder, back, and elbow. When utilized correctly, these pipettes maintain the user's hand and wrist in a neutral position recommended by ergonomic experts. Key features include a contoured body shape and adjustable hook for a comfortable grip, spring-loaded tip acquisition for easy tip attachment confirmed by an audible "click," and a low force eject button for effortless tip removal. Special filters in the nozzle safeguard against liquid aspiration, preventing contamination, while the unique design allows the pipettes to stand independently, ensuring tips never contact the bench. Mechanical models offer two-stroke operation with options for "click stop" or "quick set digital" volume adjustment ranging from 0.2μL to 1000μL, and electronic models provide custom volume presets, multi-dispensing, mixing, and serial diluting capabilities from 0.5μL to 1250μL. Additional options include electronic macro models (5mL and 10mL) and electronic multichannel models (8 and 12) along with single-channel models featuring a built-in micro tube cap opener.
