When used correctly, Ovation pipettes facilitate a neutral hand and wrist position, as recommended by ergonomic experts. Features include a contoured body shape with an adjustable hook for a comfortable grip, spring-loaded tip acquisition that requires a gentle push and provides an audible "click" to confirm secure attachment, and an easy tip ejection mechanism that allows tips to "flick" off with minimal force. Special filters in the nozzle prevent liquid from being aspirated into the pipettor, safeguarding it from contamination. Ovation pipettes uniquely stand on their own, ensuring tips never touch the bench during use. Mechanical models offer a two-stroke operation with "click stop" or "quick set digital" volume adjustment ranging from 0.2 µL to 1000 µL, while electronic models include custom volume presets, multi-dispensing, mixing, and serial diluting capabilities ranging from 0.5 µL to 1250 µL.
