Ovation® pipettes are designed with a unique and patented ergonomic shape that effectively addresses issues related to posture, repetition, and force, thus significantly reducing strain and pain associated with pipetting while ensuring superior accuracy and precision. The angled design allows users to maintain a low arm and elbow height, reducing tension in the neck, shoulder, back, and elbow. When used correctly, the pipette maintains the hand and wrist in a neutral position recommended by ergonomic experts. Key features include a contoured body shape with an adjustable hook for a comfortable grip, spring-loaded tip acquisition for easy tip attachment with an audible click for confirmation, and a low-force eject button for easy tip removal. Additionally, special filters in the nozzle prevent liquid from being aspirated into the pipettor, protecting it from contamination. These pipettes can stand independently, ensuring tips do not touch the bench during use. Mechanical models feature two-stroke operation with options for "click stop" or "quick set digital" volume adjustment ranging from 0.2 µL to 1000 µL, while electronic models offer custom volume presets, multi-dispensing, mixing, and serial diluting with a volume range of 0.5 µL to 1250 µL. Electronic macro models are available in 5 mL and 10 mL, along with 8 and 12 channel multichannel models. Single-channel versions include a built-in micro tube cap opener, and all models are color-coded for quick and easy volume identification.
