Dynarex's DynaGinate™ Ag Silver Calcium Alginate Dressings are designed to contour to the wound bed, transforming into a soothing gel-like covering upon contact with moisture, which creates an optimal moist environment and an antimicrobial barrier. This dressing features a combination of calcium alginate and silver ions that change to a fibrous gel when in contact with wound exudate, making it suitable for infected wounds or situations where there is a risk of infection. It is a high-absorbency dressing ideal for heavily exuding wounds and serves as a primary dressing for the management of partial- and full-thickness wounds at stages 3 or 4.
