Dynarex's Siligentle Ag Silver silicone bordered and non-bordered foam dressings are designed to provide a moist wound environment while delivering antimicrobial protection through a silver compound. The dressings feature a silver foam core that effectively absorbs exudate while releasing silver ions into the wound bed, facilitating an antibacterial effect. These soft and conformable dressings are particularly suitable for wounds with delayed healing due to bacterial infection or those at risk of re-infection. The vapour-permeable waterproof film combined with a silicone contact layer ensures gentleness on wounds while maintaining adherence and flexibility. They are categorized as high-absorbency dressings, making them ideal for heavily exuding wounds, and can be used as primary or secondary dressings for partial- to full-thickness wounds at stages 2, 3, or 4.
