Dynarex's oil emulsion dressings consist of a non-adherent knitted gauze impregnated with a petrolatum and sunflower oil emulsion blend, designed for the treatment of low-exuding wounds including donor sites, lacerations, skin grafts, and abrasions. These conformable, non-occlusive dressings facilitate exudate flow away from the wound into a secondary dressing, thereby reducing the risk of skin maceration. The sterile gauze is evenly impregnated to promote a hydrated wound bed and enhance healing while minimizing discomfort. Ideal for use beneath an absorbent secondary dressing, these dressings are classified as non-occlusive primary dressings suitable for wound stages 2, 3, and 4.
