At the heart of this leak detector is a new low-power metal oxide gas sensor with superior performance properties such as lower current consumption and sensor longevity. The sensor is characterized by high sensitivity and fast response upon detecting extremely small levels of chlorofluorocarbon gases, which led to its integration into the 55975 combustible gas leak detector. Additionally, a powerful microprocessor is included in the design to automatically select the best operating condition for the sensor, ensuring optimum performance throughout its life. The IntelliSense III combustible gas leak detector comes in a blow-molded case and includes two "C" batteries, a leak test vial, and replacement filters.
