The Mastercool® vacuum pump is an essential tool designed for comprehensive A/C service, showcasing a robust and reliable construction suited for demanding conditions. This model features a new U.S. design with a stronger motor that includes a gas ballast valve to minimize oil contamination from high moisture. It has an easily removable vapor discharge/oil fill port with an internal check valve to prevent liquid oil escape, along with a large oil level sight glass that includes a max/min oil level indicator. The oil drain valve is easily accessible, and the pump's large, lightweight reinforced base ensures stable positioning. Cooling fins are integrated to maintain lower temperatures during extended operation, complemented by a high-volume fan that provides cool air to the motor and pump. The manifold valve isolates the pump from the system for leak testing and is equipped with three inlet ports: 1/4", 3/8" SAE, and 1/2" ACME. The pump also features dual voltage capability and a thermally protected motor with an on/off rocker switch.
