The adaptable flat mop pad enhances cleaning efficacy and connects to the adaptable flat mop frame via tabs or pockets, enabling two styles of microfiber mopping suitable for large spaces. It is designed for use with 2132427 and RCP WaveBrake mop buckets (FG758088YEL, FG758088BRN, FG758888BLUE, FG758888RED, FG758888GRN). This mop system features two different usage functions: the tab function, which integrates powerful microfiber mopping with the trusted WaveBrake® bucket, and the pocket function, allowing for simple microfiber mopping with the spray mop handle. The microfiber pad effectively removes 99.7% or more of tested viruses and bacteria with water only, contributing to improved cleaning efficacy. The tested virus is feline calicivirus (which serves as a surrogate for norovirus), and the tested bacteria include MRSA, Pseudomonas, and C. Diff; however, it has not been tested on SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19. Compared to RCP large cotton string mops, floors dry four times faster, and the mop weighs 70% less when fully soaked. The pad has been tested to endure up to 200 commercial launderings, including 100 with bleach.
