The multi-functional barricade system is designed to meet ADA requirements and can be utilized as an ADA pathway, crowd control, manhole guard, or work area channelizer, featuring a continuously detectable edge at both the top and bottom of the barricade. It incorporates an exclusive tripod leg system that eliminates the need for sandbags when all three feet are used; one side includes an anti-trip foot, while the other side has two larger feet, which are also compliant with ADA standards when used with sandbags. Deployment is made easy with a simple handle turn that activates the barricade feet, and the units can pivot 120 degrees, allowing for versatile layouts including a three-unit triangle for manhole guarding. The barricade features robust dual connectors for an easy-to-use linking system and a smooth, comfortable guardrail with a rounded edge on top of the panel. The barricade includes four recessed sheeting areas, two on each side of the panel, measuring 8" x 50" each, and it has holes for attaching signage. The system is MASH accepted WZ-428 and meets MUTCD standards.
