The multi-functional barricade system is designed to meet ADA requirements and can be utilized as an ADA pathway, crowd control barrier, manhole guard, or work area channelizer. The system features a continuously detectable edge at both the top and bottom of the barricade, along with an exclusive tripod leg system that eliminates the need for sandbags when all three feet are used. The anti-trip foot on one side is complemented by two larger feet on the other, and sandbags can be used with the larger feet to ensure ADA compliance. Deployment is made simple with an easy handle turn that activates the barricade feet. The units can pivot 120 degrees, allowing for flexible configurations, such as a triangle layout comprising three units for manhole guarding. The barricade includes robust dual connectors, facilitating an easy linking system, and boasts a smooth, comfortable guardrail with a rounded edge on the top of the panel. Additionally, it features four recessed sheeting areas measuring 8" x 50" each, with two on each side of the panel, and provides holes for attaching signage. The product is MASH accepted WZ-428 and meets MUTCD standards.
