The multi-functional barricade system is designed to meet ADA requirements and can be utilized as an ADA pathway, crowd control, manhole guard, or work area channelizer. It features a continuously detectable edge at both the top and bottom of the barricade, and includes an exclusive tripod leg system that eliminates the need for sandbags when all three feet are used. The design incorporates an anti-trip foot on one side and two larger feet on the other, with the option to use only the larger feet with sandbags for ADA compliance. The barricade is easily deployed with a simple handle turn that deploys the feet, and it can be shaped to any layout, with units able to pivot 120 degrees, allowing for a triangle layout with three units for manhole guarding. Additional features include robust dual connectors for a user-friendly linking system and a smooth, comfortable guardrail with a rounded edge on the top of the panel. The barricade has four recessed sheeting areas, measuring 8" x 50" each, with two on each side of the panel, as well as holes for attaching signage. It is MASH accepted WZ-428 and meets MUTCD standards.
