The multi-functional barricade system is designed to meet ADA requirements and can be utilized as an ADA pathway, crowd control barrier, manhole guard, or work area channelizer. It features a continuously detectable edge at both the top and bottom of the barricade, along with an exclusive tripod leg system that eliminates the need for sandbags when all three feet are used. One side includes an anti-trip foot, while the other side has two larger feet, which may also be used with sandbags to ensure ADA compliance. The barricade is easily deployed with a handle turn that activates the feet, allowing for flexible shaping to accommodate any layout, with units capable of pivoting 120 degrees for configurations such as a triangle layout for manhole guards. The system includes robust dual connectors for a user-friendly linking mechanism, and provides a smooth, comfortable guardrail with a rounded edge on top of the panel. There are four recessed sheeting areas, measuring 8" x 50" each, located two on each side of the panel, along with holes for attaching signage. Additionally, the product is MASH accepted under WZ-428 and complies with MUTCD standards.
