The kit includes a 24" Engineer Grade sheeted ABS paddle that is 3 mm thick, which mounts to an 8"L fiberglass handle featuring a nylon grip with a stop on one side and a slow on the other side (assembly required with supplied hardware). The paddle attaches directly to the handle using included machine screws, specifically two each of 1/4 x 1 1/4 machine screws and lock nuts. This product meets the MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) standards. An optional telescoping pole is available for purchase separately.
