The R410008LE 8ft Bantam Leading Edge self-retracting lifeline is a Class 2 device approved for use in leading edge applications. It features a lightweight and compact design, comprising 8 feet of 3/16 inch galvanized steel cable and a thermoplastic housing. The kit includes an ultra-lightweight and compact backpack style energy absorber and a steel harness web connector that allows for quick and easy attachment. When used overhead, the Bantam provides a maximum arrest distance of 24 inches, making it ideal for low clearance applications. This self-retracting lifeline is tested and approved for use over steel beam, precast concrete, and B-deck, with a minimum arrest distance of less than 24 inches when used overhead. Additional features include a steel swivel snap hook, a yellow accent for clear identification of Class 2: Leading Edge, durable recessed labels to aid inspection, and compliance with ANSI Z359.14-2021 and OSHA standards.
