The Bantam R431006TB tie-back compact self-retracting lifeline is designed for lightweight safety, weighing just over 2 lbs. per unit, allowing for connection at the user's back without causing fatigue. As an ANSI Class A device, it is ideal for low clearance applications, featuring a specially designed tie-back snap hook that connects directly to the web for a quick and easy anchor connection while maintaining average arrest forces to less than 900 lbs. This model is available in a 9 ft length and constructed with tough Dyneema®/polyester webbing, combined into a twin-leg model with an adapter carabiner for 100% tie-off applications. The lifeline meets ANSI Z359.14-2014, Class A (24 inch maximum arrest distance) standards and supports workers up to 400 pounds. Its construction includes a high impact nylon housing, a 3/4 inch Dyneema®/polyester webbing material, an A100331 twin-leg pin adaptor for easy installation behind the harness D-ring, and durable labels along with a shock pack cover to aid inspection, ensuring compliance with the ANSI Z359.14, Class A and OSHA standards.
