The blade is constructed from 1/8" thick steel with a 3-prong mount between the blades and hub, designed with three heavy-duty spring steel blades, each securely riveted with three round head solid steel rivets, and statically balanced for optimal performance. The guard features an instant opening hinge for ease of maintenance and cleaning, constructed with 6 gauge outer and radial rib wire size, and 11-1/2 gauge spiral wire size. Both the blade and guard meet all safety standards, including OSHA and UL probe, ensuring safety compliance. The clearance between the guard and blade is not less than 2-1/2" at any point, with a minimum of 1-1/2" clearance on the 20" model. The design includes 8 front to rear guard positive locking fastening loops with hinge capability (6 fastening loops on the 20" guard), and the guards fasten securely to the motor using 4 motor thru-bolts.
