The 3M Xtract™ Pneumatic Random Orbital Sander is an essential part of the 3M Xtract™ sanding system, designed to provide virtually dust-free sanding when used with 3M Xtract™ net discs and the 3M Xtract™ portable dust extractor. This powerful sander features a 0.28 HP (209W) air-driven motor, precision-balanced for efficient operation, housed in a durable, lightweight aluminum structure built for industrial use. The rear threaded attachment allows for easy connection to a 1" external threaded vacuum hose (sold separately), facilitating effective dust elimination from the workpiece and surrounding area. When combined with 3M Xtract™ net discs and dust extraction, the system can extract up to 97% of the dust generated during sanding. This vacuum-ready sander offers a self-generated vacuum for a compact solution, with non-vacuum options also available.
