The 3M Xtract™ Pneumatic Random Orbital Sander is a key component of the 3M Xtract™ sanding system, which includes 3M Xtract™ net discs and the 3M Xtract™ portable dust extractor to enable virtually dust-free sanding. This powerful sander features a 0.28 HP (209W) air-driven motor housed in durable, lightweight aluminum, designed for industrial use and capable of withstanding long hours on the shop floor. The sander is engineered for dust extraction and easily connects to the 3M Xtract™ portable dust extractor, 3M™ clean sanding filter bags, or existing central vacuum systems via a rear threaded attachment for a 1" external threaded vacuum hose (sold separately). When used with 3M Xtract™ net discs and dust extraction, the system can extract up to 97% of the dust generated during sanding.
