The 3M Xtract™ Pneumatic Random Orbital Sander is an essential part of the 3M Xtract™ sanding system, designed to provide virtually dust-free sanding when used in conjunction with 3M Xtract™ net discs and the 3M Xtract™ portable dust extractor. This durable sander features a powerful 0.28 HP (209W) precision-balanced air-driven motor and is constructed from lightweight aluminum, making it suitable for extensive industrial use. It is engineered for efficient dust extraction, easily connecting to the 3M Xtract™ portable dust extractor, 3M™ clean sanding filter bags, or existing central vacuum systems via a rear threaded attachment compatible with a 1" external threaded vacuum hose (sold separately). The system effectively removes up to 97% of the dust generated during sanding when used with 3M Xtract™ net discs, enhancing the cleanliness of the work environment. It offers vacuum-ready functionality alongside options for non-vacuum use, ensuring versatility in various sanding applications.
