The kit includes a digital caliper featuring a resolution of .0005"/0.01mm with ceramic tipped jaws designed for outside measurement. The jaws are extremely wear-resistant, non-magnetic, and non-conductive. Key features include buttons for On/Off, Zero, and Inch/mm selection, along with an automatic power-off function which activates the unit when moved. The caliper is powered by a CR2032 battery and is equipped with a data output made of stainless steel. An optional accessory available is a data output cable.
