The PBL500 is an insulated gas cylinder heater specifically designed to fit a 500-gallon horizontal gas cylinder tank, operating at 120 volts AC and drawing 6 amps to produce 720 watts of heating power. It features a preset thermostat set for 100 °F / 38 °C with an allowable range of 10 °F / 5 °C. This heater is engineered to enhance propane efficiency in colder weather, preventing decreases in propane pressure that can be both frustrating and costly. The PowerBlanket® Lite gas cylinder warmers are designed for residential heating, helping maintain optimal gas flow when the temperature drops. They improve propane tank efficiency by heating the tank's exterior to minimize heat loss in extreme conditions. Designed for smaller-scale heating applications, the PowerBlanket® Lite line has a lower power density compared to the Industrial and Xtreme models and is more efficient and safer than standard heating elements.
