Dura-Spike® bird deterrent spikes are constructed entirely from 100% stainless steel, specifically utilizing 304 grade wires and a welded base, making them a durable and effective solution for preventing pest bird infestation. Designed to stop birds from landing and roosting, these spikes provide a humane method of bird control and are particularly effective against pigeons and larger bird species. The spikes come in strips of 3 feet in length with available widths of narrow, wide, and xtra-wide, allowing them to conform to various building features with gentle curves or hard bends. Ideal installation surfaces include ledges, parapets, signs, beams, pipes, chimneys, cutouts, security cameras, and lights. The base can be easily cut with snips or shears and can be glued or screwed to any surface, requiring an easy installation level. Note that these spikes are intended for use in areas with medium bird pressure and should not be installed where birds are nesting.
