Gaps can appear between sections of BirdSlide when mounting to uneven surfaces, but new molded connectors lock the ends together and fill in the seam. BirdSlide™ is designed for use on ledges, eaves, angle irons, I-beams, and most "L" shaped ledges where total exclusion of birds is the goal. It is sold in a 15-foot case, which includes three five-foot sections. This product completely protects ledges against all bird species, preventing them from gaining traction and causing them to "slide" off. When color matched to the structure, BirdSlide usually appears to be a part of the building and is available in gray or beige, with the option to prime and paint to match any color. Installation is straightforward; for ledges six inches wide, the flat base adheres to any clean surface using Bird Barrier Bond. For narrower ledges, the "fin" can be trimmed, and for wider ledges, an extension can be added. BirdSlide™ can also be screwed to wood. It is constructed from UV-stabilized polycarbonate and comes with a two-year warranty against UV breakdown. Additionally, painting the product can extend its lifespan.
