This charger powers up to 500 feet of track and is ideal for smaller projects. It features connectors on the bottom and an on/off switch, with an input voltage of 12VDC and a maximum output voltage of 8.6KV +/- 10%. The output pulse width at 500 ohms is 25µs, and the output at 500 ohms is 4.0KV, delivering 0.14J. The dimensions of the charger are 8" x 12.5" x 4". It is recommended to attach battery leads and charge for 2 days before activating.
