For wider ledges, BirdSlide extensions can be added to increase the size and coverage. Extensions are 6" wide and simply slide onto the top of the BirdSlide, making installation a fast and easy process that appears attractive and professional. The BirdSlide™ is designed for use on ledges, eaves, angle irons, I-beams, and most "L" shaped ledges, where total exclusion of birds is the objective. It is sold by the 15-foot case, with each case containing 3 five-foot sections. BirdSlide™ effectively protects the ledge against all bird species, preventing them from gaining a grip and causing them to "slide" off the surface. When color-matched to the structure, BirdSlide tends to blend seamlessly with the building. It is available in gray or beige and can be primed and painted to match any color. The installation process is simple for ledges six inches wide, as the flat base adheres to any clean surface using Bird Barrier Bond. For narrower ledges, the "fin" can be trimmed down, and for wider ledges, an extension can be added. BirdSlide™ can also be screwed to wood. It is constructed from UV-stabilized polycarbonate and comes with a two-year warranty against UV breakdown; painting the product can further extend its life.
