This innovative system is specifically designed to prevent birds from accessing areas beneath solar arrays, thereby protecting roofs, wiring, and equipment from potential damage. The system features patent-pending plastic clips that are UV-stable and will not scratch solar panels, with a recommended installation every 18 inches. The clips securely bind the wire mesh to the panels without the need for drilling holes, ensuring that the integrity of the solar system remains intact while being nearly invisible from the ground. Installation requires basic tools, including tin snips, and the wire mesh is supplied in rolls, which are typically cut into six-foot lengths before installation. A 24-inch tool is used to bend the bottom one-inch of the mesh up to about 30 degrees, creating a kick-out that helps to lock the mesh firmly in place. The system is designed for easy and fast installation and can be removed for service as needed.
