TowerGuard posts stand 14 inches tall with a diameter of 1/2 inch, designed to accommodate various heights of cord or wire through their top and bottom holes, allowing for easy pulling. These posts are resistant to high winds and temperatures, featuring a post tip that offers additional repellent capabilities. For added safety, the posts come with a yellow cap option, effectively deterring large birds such as gulls, cormorants, vultures, ospreys, hawks, and owls by creating both a visual and physical barrier on railings and flat surfaces. The posts are designed to eliminate perching opportunities for birds seeking energy-efficient landing spots. They can be easily removed for maintenance by pulling a simple pin, facilitating access to antennas and railings. Made from durable plastic employed in telecom outdoor boxes, the TowerGuard posts are resistant to UV degradation. For sensitive applications, the system can be configured without metal parts by using polyester cord instead of metal birdwire and substituting the locking pin with a knotted length of polyester cord.
