A unique locking mechanism securely holds the shackle closed during use, and it is integrated with the shackle to prevent the loss of pins, a common issue with steel options. The design also ensures that the rope falls safely to the ground during failure without whipping, and it mitigates the risk of a metal hook becoming a projectile. Not rated for lifting, these winch lines have a working load limit of 16,933 lb and are made in the USA.
