LockJaw® synthetic winch lines are engineered from high strength synthetic fibers, providing superior strength and significantly reduced weight compared to traditional steel winch lines and shackles of equivalent size. This innovative solution addresses the challenges of metal winch lines, which are often heavy, inflexible, and cumbersome, presenting safety hazards and requiring extensive maintenance. The patented design of LockJaw® allows for easy wrapping around various anchor points. These synthetic winch lines and shackles are UV and abrasion resistant, ensuring they will not rust over time. The unique locking mechanism securely retains the shackle in place during use, with the lock attached to the shackle to prevent the loss of pins commonly seen with steel alternatives. In the event of failure, the design prevents the rope from whipping dangerously and eliminates the risk of a metal hook becoming a projectile. LockJaw® synthetic winch lines have a working load limit of 10,700 lb. and are not rated for lifting. They are proudly made in the USA and are patent pending.
