LockJaw® synthetic winch lines are crafted from high strength synthetic fibers, offering a combination of superior strength and lightweight characteristics compared to steel winch lines and shackles of equivalent size. The design addresses issues associated with traditional metal lines, which are often heavy, inflexible, and can pose safety hazards during use. LockJaw®’s patented design facilitates easy wrapping around various anchor points while ensuring UV and abrasion resistance, along with rust prevention. The shackle features an exclusive lock that securely holds it closed during operation, with the lock attached to the shackle to prevent the loss of pins commonly seen with steel options. In the event of failure, the rope is designed to fall to the ground rather than whip dangerously, reducing the risk of a metal hook launching as a projectile. The product is not rated for lifting and is patent pending, with a working load limit of 10,700 lb., and is proudly made in the USA.
