LockJaw® synthetic winch lines are designed using high-strength synthetic fibers, making them significantly stronger and lighter than traditional steel winch lines and shackles of the same size. These lines address the drawbacks of metal winch lines, which can be heavy, inflexible, and inconvenient, presenting safety hazards and requiring more maintenance. The patented design of LockJaw® allows it to wrap easily around various anchor points, and it boasts UV and abrasion resistance while eliminating rust concerns. The exclusive locking mechanism securely holds the shackle closed during use, with the lock attached to the shackle to prevent the loss of pins often seen with steel alternatives. In the event of a failure, the design ensures the rope falls to the ground without whipping dangerously, and it also mitigates the risk of a metal hook launching as a projectile. The winch lines are not rated for lifting, feature a working load limit of 16,933 lb., and are made in the USA.
