LockJaw® synthetic winch lines are crafted from high-strength synthetic fibers, making them significantly stronger and lighter than steel winch lines and shackles of equivalent size. These winch lines address the issues associated with metal lines, which are heavy, inflexible, and pose safety hazards while requiring considerable maintenance. The patented design of LockJaw® enables it to easily wrap around various anchor points, while its UV and abrasion resistance ensures longevity and prevents rusting. The integrated lock securely holds the shackle closed during use, with the lock attached to the shackle to avoid the common issue of lost pins seen with steel shackles. In the event of a failure, the design ensures that the rope will fall to the ground rather than whip dangerously, and it also eliminates the risk of a metal hook becoming a projectile. LockJaw® synthetic winch lines have a working load limit of 7400 lb. and are not rated for lifting. They are made in the USA and are patent pending.
