Winch rope extensions are a crucial element of any recovery kit, offering essential reach beyond the winch's standard line. Unlike heavy and inflexible metal winch lines, LockJaw® winch line extensions, made from high-strength HMPE fibers, are lighter, safer, and more convenient to use. Each extension comes equipped with an integrated shackle for quick and safe attachment to various objects, and they are available in lengths of 25', 50', 75', and 100'. These extensions are not rated for lifting and are patent pending. The LockJaw® synthetic winch line incorporates a securely locking shackle that remains closed during use, preventing the rope from whipping dangerously during failure and eliminating the risk of a metal hook being launched as a projectile. Each extension has a working load limit of 2833 lb. and is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
