LockJaw® synthetic winch lines are crafted from high-strength synthetic fibers, offering superior strength and significantly reduced weight compared to steel winch lines and shackles of the same size. These winch lines are designed to address the limitations of metal lines, which are often heavy, inflexible, and pose safety hazards. The patented design enables easy wrapping around various anchor points while remaining UV and abrasion resistant, and the materials used ensure that the lines will not rust. Each LockJaw® line features an exclusive lock that securely holds the attached shackle closed during use, with the lock integrated into the shackle to prevent the common problem of lost pins associated with steel shackles. In the event of failure, the design ensures that the rope will fall safely to the ground without dangerously whipping, and it mitigates the risk of a metal hook becoming a projectile. The winch lines are not rated for lifting, have a working load limit of 7400 lb, and are proudly made in the USA.
